About the Knowledge Management System (KMS) Reports Portal

We are working hard to improve Knowledge Management System (KMS) reporting for our users. Over the next several months, we will be systematically migrating reports from the Knowledge Management System (KMS) Reports page to the Knowledge Management System (KMS) Reports Portal. We hope to have moved all of the KMS reports to this new portal by calendar year 2017. In the meantime as we work to complete the reports portal, we will continue to maintain, and users may continue to access, existing reports on the KMS Reports page.

New Reporting Self-Service Features

As we migrate existing reports to the new KMS Reports Portal, users may notice some exciting new enhancements to our reports. The KMS Reports Portal uses an upgraded version of IBM’s Cognos Analytics software. This reporting software promises to deliver a variety of new self-service options, including the ability to:
  • Search for reports by key word or report number
  • Edit and personalize reports
  • Drill down to student detail (depending on user permissions)
  • Create dashboards using multiple data sources
  • Create charts and visualizations using a variety of templates
  • Access reports on mobile devices
  • Export to HTML, Excel, PDF or CSV.
